50 Miles in February

I hit my goal of running 50 miles in my first month of running. February’s total was 50.35 miles.

I am aware this was not a hugely ambitious goal, but I honestly didn’t know if I could achieve it. I certainly was not guilty of setting a goal I knew for sure I could accomplish. There’s no hammer and no forge in setting goals that you know without a doubt you’ll reach. There’s no transformation in it.

I’ve set a few new goals for March. Among those are 75 miles running and attaining a 9-minute 30-second mile pace for the greater portion of my runs. Consistency is still priority number one. Getting up and grinding is better than not. Consistency is more important than speed or distance, but why grind if not to get better, stronger, faster, and tougher?

Go do the difficult thing.
